Jeanette Hibbert

Jeanette Hibbert is a versatile artist inspired by the beauty of nature and the human form. She is a member of Thornbury Art Club, her local art society and is looking forward to exhibiting with them for the first time in the summer of 2014, hoping to exhibit more in the future. Being part of a community is really important to Jeanette and she loves to share and develop herself and others.

Jeanette recently returned to her love of art after many years and is more passionate about it than ever. She works in a variety of media including pencil, pastels, watercolours, graphite, oils and photography and is always keen to experiment with new media and subject matter, to challenge her skills and knowledge.

As part of this challenge Jeanette is also working on illustrating and writing a lyrical children’s book.

Jeanette typically works from photographs she has taken whilst out and about and likes to use these as a basis for the work she creates, adding her own style and artistic impression.

Jeanette likes her work to look like art so works with vivid colours in a realist, or illustrative style, depending on the media and the subject.'
