Gerson Vieira

Gerson Vieira is a self taught artist originally from Paraiba/Brasil, who lives in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil.

Although he has finish his studies in Law at Estacio de Sa University -Rio de Janeiro Brazil, Arts is always in his mind and extra activities. He is now determined to pursuit this dream with his unique style full of colours as we can see in his works.

He had received several awards when participating in Arts Exhibitions in Brazil/Rio de Janeiro.

His inspiration comes from important personalities, religious icons, poets and landscapes where he inputs his colours and unique Brazilian style.

Among his artwork is one painting of ‘Carlos Drumond de Andrade’ Brazilian Poet, for the 100 years Celebration of his birthday and another of ‘Silvia Nobre Waiapi, the first Indian woman to be part of the Army in Brazil.

He is also member of Solidarity Art Society, a project in partnership with UN (United Nations) with the aim to reunite artists and personalities from several countries in Rio de Janeiro.
